« Dire et lire Germain Nouveau, le méconnu des connus »
Lecture par Cédric Bonfils suivie d'une table ronde avec les poètes invités : Cédric Bonfils, Ludovic Degroote et François Heusbourg, animée par Karine Germoni. Rencontre organisée par la Fondation Saint-John Perse en avant-première de l'exposition Germain Nouveau, en partenariat avec le Festival des Écrivains du Sud et la Bibliothèque Méjanes.

INFOS PRATIQUES :
Le port du masque sera obligatoire dans tous les lieux du festival. Du gel hydro-alcoolique sera à disposition à l'entrée de chaque lieu. Afin de gérer au mieux les flux et de vérifier les inscriptions, il vous est demandé de vous présenter avec votre réservation (faite sur billetto.fr) sur site 15 minutes avant le début de chaque animation. Les auteurs dédicaceront leurs ouvrages sous le chapiteau situé à l'entrée de la Cité du Livre.

Créé en 2000 par Paule CONSTANT (membre de l'académie Goncourt), qui en assure la présidence, le CENTRE DES ÉCRIVAINS DU SUD - JEAN GIONO a pour vocation de promouvoir, à travers des manifestations littéraires, la littérature française et francophone contemporaine.
Sylvie Durbet-Giono, fille de Jean Giono, est présidente d'honneur du Centre. Michel Déon, de l’Académie française, a présidé son comité culturel.
Le Centre des Écrivains du Sud organise des "Entretiens", des "Master Classes" et des "Journées" où il réunit des écrivains français et francophones qui illustrent le Sud comme concept esthétique, tel que l’a défini Jean Giono
C'est en 2015, en partenariat avec la Ville d'Aix-en-Provence, que le FESTIVAL DES ÉCRIVAINS DU SUD est crée et dont la périodicité est annuelle.
