🔴 SUNFLOW – MOVEMENT EXPLORATION with Becky hicks // SAT - 11H - 12H
👉 About the class :
This class explores the different ways we can move our body in one space, and suitable for anyone that enjoys to move; Sunflow is inclusive. The class combines yoga and dance, structure and flow, softness with strength, and the balance between dynamic and non-resistant ways of moving with meditation and breath.
Within this somatic guidance focusing on sensation; diverse themes, practices and topics are integrated to explore our human relationship with life around and inside of us. Inspiration from ecstatic dance, qi gong, yoga, raving and travels.
Music plays an important role, and the playlist is carefully selected to synchronize with the intention of the movement, whilst providing inspiration, groove and enjoyment!

Born in Cambridge, UK, Becky has worked as a professional dancer for over 11 years, trained in London, India, Berlin and Amsterdam.
She has had the honour to share the stage with many renowned artists and productions around the world, and currently working as a choreographer for such.
She is qualified as a professional dancer, Yoga teacher, Therapeutic movement for people with physical impairments from chronic illnesses, the Non-Linear Movement Method somatic practice for trauma release. Becky is passionate about the healing effects of dance, and sharing how it is used in different cultures for expression, in ceremony, story-telling, community and prayer.
Alongside her dance career, Becky has been teaching for over 6 years with various workshops and inclusive dance, is involved with creative projects, performance, choreography and artist collaboration, exploring concepts to increase awareness and deepen connection on both the healing and creative aspects of dance.
Currently based in Lisbon, Portugal, previously lived in Berlin London and Mexico.
🟠 CREATIVE CONTEMPORARY DANCE CLASS with Patricia Keheler // SAT - 12H30 - 13H30
👉 About the class :
This class is for everyone who enjoys moving. After a light warmup, we will continue with a bit of improvisation; Dance improvisation is a process of spontaneous discovery, creating meaningful movement in "real-time."
We will explore a variety of scores and creative tasks that foster sensitivity, conscious awareness of movement choices, and openness to finding unexpected pathways. As each of us deepens our ability to draw on our creative resources, we can also experience more satisfying collaborations while dancing together in the same space.
This class is for adult participants with little to no dance training who are eager to expand their creative process in dance and/or to become more comfortable with improvisation and movement.
👉 About Patricia :
Born in San Francisco California, Patricia I has been dancing professionally for over 10 years.
Throughout her career, she has been honored to dance on many international stages working with several renowned choreographers both on existing work as well as new creations.
Currently working as a freelance dancer, artist, and teacher where she is involved in a range of different projects within Europe, as well as local creations in Portugal. In 2019, Patricia began embarking on her creative path as a choreographer and has since created four site-specific performances in collaboration with other artists, incorporating different media and art forms such as film, sculpture, and electronic music.
Patricia is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal where she is a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer

🔵 AFRO-JAZZ with David J. Amaro // SUN - 12H30 - 13H30
👉 About the class :
David J. Amado brings Afro-Jazz, a distinct blend of jazz and contemporary dance techniques, infused with Latin-American and African nuances. The focus is fluidity through the use of instinctive, organic and sensual movements. The warm up is designed to awaken the senses and increase strength through awareness, breathing, body alignment and isolation.

2020 Direção-Geral das Artes-DGARTES (Portugal) Grant Recipient, David J. Amado is a Jamaican-American Filmmaker-Choreographer, and a graduate of Columbia University in the City of New York (B.A. in Music). David began his training with Donlin Foreman in Graham Technique, and shortly thereafter he became an apprentice with Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company (AOTD) under the direction of Enrique Cruz de Jesus in New York. Since then, has danced for Ballet des Amériques in New York City, Corpo Cidadão in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, as well as, Chapitô in Lisbon, Portugal. As a choreographer, David ́s mission is to use ballet to tell the stories of Black people and Queer people. With a multicultural heritage and a career which has spanned three continents, David J. Amado approaches choreography and film with a nuanced, inclusive mindset where audiences are given the opportunity to expand their paradigm regarding the versatility of the Black body, as well as what is ballet.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your AULAS DANCA tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your AULAS DANCA tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
