Le cabaret est un conte musical de l'ange Babylon, qui tente de comprendre le monde humain dans un mélange de langues babyloniennes.
Un cabaret grotesque, plein d'humour, d'ironie et de passion. Nous rencontrons un ange déchu, un fou qui se parle à lui-même, au ciel et au public, et nous sommes lentement entraînés de plus en plus profondément dans les recoins de l'amour et de la vie, avec légèreté et sérieux.
Le cabaret est construit sur des musiques et des chansons des années 1930 et 1940 de P.H., Edith Piaf, Brecht, Balz, Weil et Holländer, entre autres.
« Babel Babel » est une reconstitution de Nattens Babylon dans une nouvelle adaptation et avec un nouvel accompagnateur, Martin Damgaard. De 2004 à 2014, Søs Banke a effectué une tournée avec Nattens Babylon et les musiciens Torben Lassen et Nikolai Seidelin sous le nom de « Babylon Trio ». Ce spectacle de cabaret était une émanation du cabaret Liebe ist Kein Geheimniss, né de la collaboration de Søs Banke avec le théâtre Zimmer de Tübingen, dans le sud de l'Allemagne, en 2002, où il a été joué pour la première fois avec une distribution musicale différente.
