Cheena est composé de membres de groupe de noise et de hardcore comme Pharmakon et Anasazi, mais sur leurs débuts, ils sont un groupe de rock, pur et simple, inspiré par les New York Dolls. C'est dans une ambiance festive, loin du spleen urbain que le groupe nous balance "Spend The Night With..." , un album de rock old school, où les chansons s'enchaînent tel un set parfaitement maîtrisé, et qui nous rappelle qu'il y a longtemps New York City sonnait punk comme Cheena.
