Corrosif et sauvage, la bande de Jack Falkous livre depuis 2005 des disques sous pression, brûlots sarcastiques aux rythmiques sévères qui culminent dans un dernier album voyant l'art des Gallois atteindre un haut niveau d’orfèvrerie. "The Peace And Truce of..." est un alignement de titres tendus, syncopés, à la fois bourrés d'humour et sèchement musclés, affinant sa recette dévastatrice entre post-punk et noise. Sleafords Mods meets Young Widows pour un résultat british jusqu'au bout des cordes, punk et railleur, avec des lives dont l'énergie n'a rien à envier aux plus véner' des groupes noisecore.
