☰ PHORIA:
Formé en 2010 et composé aujourd’hui de cinq membres : Seryn Burden, Tim Douglas, Jeb Hardwick, Trewin Howard et Ed Sanderson, Phoria est un doux mélange, une vague en provenance de Brighton et traversant la Manche pour le bonheur de nos oreilles. Une pop électronique toute douce, des explosions lyriques, des sonorités downtempo et minimalistes… James Blake n’a qu’à bien se tenir ! Plusieurs maxis derrière eux, suscitant toujours émotions et stupeurs, ont dit souvent qu’ils auraient pu s’appeler « Euphoria », tant leur musique tend à la confusion des sens et à l’appel des émotions. Avant de les accueillir en concert au Batofar, le 18 octobre prochain, on écoute sans retenue Melatonin, le morceau le plus envoûtant et planant de l’année.

☰ EINLEIT
Einleit, dont le nom inspiré d’un terme d’opéra a des accents faustiens mais des teintes sombres. Il est même question de « pop noire » pour caractériser les accents électroniques du projet de Jun Suzuki, pourtant ce chemin qui pourrait mener vers les effets magistraux de Woodkid serait trompeur. C’est un univers en clair-obscur que dévoile Einleit sur deux admirables EPs qui se permettent de citer Foals tout en malaxant des claviers plaintifs. Le sublime titre Air marquait dès 2012 la naissance de ce nouvel avatar synth-pop de l’élégance à la française. Le long format, prévu pour 2017, devrait durablement lancer la mode.
