☻ THE VACANT LOTS - New York
Voilà un jeune binôme new-yorkais dont la classe pourrait rendre jaloux plus d'un. The Vacant Lots développe rapidement un live d'une intensité remarquable, guidé par une guitare hypnotique, des rythmiques minimalistes, des synthés cosmiques et tout cela sous fond de projections visuelles psychédéliques. Impressionné par leur prestation, Sonic Boom prend le duo sous son aile pour produire le premier album "Departure".
Très vite TVL rejoint la programmation de l'Austin Psych Fest et fait le tour des states en première partie de The Growlers. Lors d’une première tournée européenne, ils sont accueillis par Anton Newcombe à Berlin, avec qui, ils enregistrent un EP qui sortira sur A Recordings fin 2016.
Autant vous dire que leur retour à la Méca réjouira tous les amateurs de psyché !!

☻ Abschaum - Lyon
Depuis le début des années 2010, Chris Poincelot capture comme peu d'autres ont su le faire, l'essence des musiques synthétiques, la piégeant dans d'inextricables filets de voix noire et d’hypnotiques boucles de batteries et de guitare. Tel l’héritage de Suicide, Abschaum nous fait entrevoir avec émotion l’ombre d’Alan Vega, nous assourdi avec des riffs saturés à la Spacemen 3 et nous plonge dans une ambiance sombre et froide digne de Kraftwerk. Un nouvel album intitulé "Moon Tango" ne devrait pas tarder à paraître
A Paris ils seront quatre sur scène, le son sera plus massif que jamais !
Admirateurs de Suicide et autres dystopies soniques, ce concert est immanquable !!
