Samedi 29 octobre, Dancing Heroes se met aux couleurs de Dance Mania Records, certainement le meilleur label de Chicago de tous les temps. Rien que ça.
Sur les cendres du disco, le label Dance Mania a révélé l'acid house et la ghetto house qui influencera le monde entier de Daft Punk à Night Slugs. Des années 80 à 90, le label dévoile des sons house, bruts et salaces, générant chez le public l'irresistible envie de se frôtter dans la pénombre des clubs et permettant à beaucoup de ne pas rentrer seul. Ces même sons devenus aujourd'hui référence dans les soirées les plus affûtées, et objets de convoitise pour leurs éditions vinyles qui s’échangent à des montants délirants en ligne.
Basses massives, rythmes syncopés toujours plus rapides, beats secs et percussifs, voix acides qui demandent en boucle aux «bitches» ce qu’elles comptent faire de leur «ass» ce soir : Dance Mania n’est pas le royaume de la poésie, mais un témoignage cru et irresistible de la culture américaine de la rue du début des années 90.
Le 29 octobre, Dancing Heroes rend hommage à Dance Mania en invitant deux barons du genre DJ Deeon et Parris Mitchell accompagnés par le crew des Point Carré qui se chargera de chauffer le chaudron du central avec le Dj Booth au milieu du dancefloor.
