Deap Vally (US / Cooking Vinyl) : Lindsey Troy et Julie Edwards se sont rencontrées dans un cours de crochet en 2011 (sérieusement), et ont depuis impressionné et mis tout le monde sur le cul, tournant avec Queens of the Stone Age, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, DIIV, Band of Skulls, the Vaccines, Marilyn Manson, Muse, Peaches, Babes in Toyland, et Mumford and Sons, et jouant dans le monde entier dans des festivals tels que Glastonbury, Austin Psych Fest ou encore Spendor In The Grass avec leur premier album SISTRIONIX sorti en 2013. Deap Vally ont une approche de l’enregistrement qui est très fidèle à leur son et qui reproduit l’âme de leurs prestations live, qui capture l’énergie brute et le sex appeal qui débordent de la scène. Une petite instrumentation, UN GROS SON. C’est ça la magie de Deap Vally. Elles manient leurs instruments comme des mitrailleuses, mais câlinent des chatons en coulisses. Ces femmes énigmatiques sont des louves dans des habits de moutons le jour et des moutons dans des habits de louves la nuit (et si l’idée d’elles en moutons vous donne envie de les porter en pull-over près de votre cœur, jetez un œil à leur merch tricoté à la main). Le 16 septembre 2016, le duo de Los Angeles va sortir son album numéro 2, “FEMEJISM”, produit par Nick Zinner des Yeah Yeah Yeahs
ELECTRIC RETRO SPECTRUM
Electric Retro Spectrum (Grunge / Montreuil) est avant tout une expérience artistique. Un vaisseau dont on connait le nom mais jamais la destination.
Créé en 2011 par Marko (guitare/chant) et Tara (chant/guitare/synth) et rejoint en 2014 par Gautier (drums/chant). Inspiré par les vieux docu rock des années 60/70/90, les expériences soniques des Velvet Underground / Sonic Youth / Black Sabbath et les oscillations planantes de Pink Floyd. Performances scéniques sauvages et grunge, le groupe pousse sans cesse ses limites cherchant à faire ressentir et vibrer leur public.
