DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT est un groupe de black métal Allemand formé en 2008.
Ils sortent dès 2009 leur premier album "Der Weg Einer Freiheit", jouent auprès de célébrités comme Wolves in the Throne Room, Neaera, The Black Dhalia Murder, Despised Icon..., et enchainent les scènes (Wolfszeit Festival, Extremefest...).
Trois ans plus tard, Der Weg Einer Freiheit sort son deuxième album "Unstille" puis en Mars 2015 "Stellar" avec lequel le quatuor monte encore d'un cran dans la hiérarchie métallique.
