Une décennie sur terre qui mérite d´être célébré comme il se doit en Novembre prochain des deux cotés du Rhin avec pas moins de six évènements sur deux semaines entre Paris et Berlin, réunissant la plupart de ceux qui ont façonnés J.A.W depuis le début ainsi que de nouveaux amis. Une réunion de famille en bonne et du forme autour de la musique, de l´amour du vinyl, de bons vins (natures) et de la bonne cuisine: c´est ça la Family Reunion!
Du coté parisien, le groupe anglais qui fait bouger les lignes du jazz en ce moment, Yussef Kamaal, mené de mains de maitre par le jeune prodige londonien Henry Wu lancera les hostilités á la Machine. Leur musique peux rappeller celle d´un Idris Muhammad version Kudu ou encore d´un Kaidi Tatham version broken beat. Leur 1er album sort en Novembre prochain sur le label du gourou anglais de la radio - Mr. Gilles Peterson – Brownswood Recordings. Yussef Kamaal lancera donc les hostilités avant de laisser la place au grand monsieur de Detroit, figure incontournable des soirées J.A.W depuis ces débuts, Mr. Theo Parrish pour un all night long dans les règles de l´art. Le boss du label Sound Signature n´est plus á présenter tant son influence dans le monde de la musique électronique soulfull est énorme. Ces apparitions en club se font de plus en plus rare aujourd’hui, raison de plus pour se réjouir de sa venue dans la capitale.
