Bienvenue dans l’intérieur douillet de l’illustre Marie-Viande, comtesse anthropophage confinée depuis ce qui ressemble à toujours. Assistée par Polype, excroissance hybride qui la sert et l’aide à accoucher de ses nombreux avortons, Marie-Viande dévore ses enfants avec délectation pour combler le vide qui la ronge. Seulement voilà: il n’est pas sain d’ingérer à l’infini ce qui sort de soi; aussi décide-t-elle de chercher une personne consentante pour se faire dévorer en grandes pompes.
