Pour la troisième édition de People Are Strange, nous vous proposons un événement 100% Drum & Bass dans un des rares clubs parisiens alternatifs : le Glazart. Ce sera la première date de DLR à Paris sous son projet solo. En effet, les passionnés de D&B reconnaitront la moitié du duo incroyable Octane & DLR, qui avait envahi la scène avec leur maitrise incomparable de bassline. Ils ont quand même réussi à produire une track reproduisant par eux-mêmes le vrombissement d’une mouche, merde ! Nous accueillerons aussi, après une longue période d’absence, le monstrueux Silent Witness. La violence du son de cet anglais l’a placé sous l’aile de l’agence Methlab, spécialisée dans ce type de brutes.

DLR a débuté sa carrière solo explosive en 2013, produisant certaines des tracks les plus appréciées de l’année sur de grands labels tels que Dispatch Recordings, Horizons Music et Shogun Audio. Il a collaboré avec une pléthore d’artistes : Hydro, Mako, Villem, Prolix et Break, pour en citer quelques uns. Il revient, pour la première fois à Paris dans le cadre de ce projet solo après avoir l’été dernier réalisé un b2b surprise avec Goldie sur la scène Metalheadz du Outlook Festival.

Silent Witness - UK / (Triple, Seed, Dispatch, Metalheadz, Critical Music)
Silent Witness est un producteur ancré dans les vertèbres de la D&B et culture Bass musique depuis 2002; il continue à alimenter cette scène à travers ses bombes technologiques. Il est aussi un acteur majeur au tout début de la Neurofunk aux côtés de son collègue Cause4Concern. Il a su se positionner en ciselant son propre style original, contribuant largement à la formation du monstre qu'est devenue ce genre aujourd'hui. Avec des tracks réparties sur des labels plus que respectés, Commercial Suicide, Critical Music, Metalheadz et Quarantine, l'essentiel de ses productions sont destinées à l'innovateur Distpatch Recordings ou encore à son propre label Triple Seed (top-seller sur Beatport). Ses récentes collaborations avec Kulte, Prolix, Break, ainsi que sa sortie sur le label de Noisia, Invisible Recordings, Silent Witness aura terminé l'année 2015 en beauté, sortant réellement de l'ombre.
