Erik Pédurand est un auteur, compositeur, interprète aux résonnances soul, afro, caribéenne, là où l’âme se marie avec l’exil, de Paris, en passant par les Antilles et les Etats-Unis où il vit actuellement.
Erik Pédurand sera de retour à Paris sur la scène du Petit Journal Montparnasse pour un hommage vibrant à Eugene Mona, véritable porte-voix des musiques traditionnelles de la Martinique dans les années 1970.
Du tambour à l’Afro-beat, du Ti-bois à l’electro, il sera accompagné du groupe The Keeys. Ils présenteront à cette occasion « Tribute to Mona », un EP où figurent les chansons les plus connues de l’artiste, Bwa Brile, Ti milo, Bidon Dachine.
Ce répertoire original sera agrémenté des compositions des albums « Chayé kow et École Créole » d’Erik Pédurand. »
*Jam To The Wild c’est quoi ?
C’est le rendez-vous des artistes et mélomanes de la capitale, durant lequel musiciens et chanteurs se rencontrent pour faire un « bœuf ».
L’idée est en premiere partie de soirée: un concert hommage à un groupe/un style musical mythique, les reprises étant interprétées en majorité par des talents/musiciens actif sur la scène soul et alternative française ou une carte blanche donné à un artiste. Puis en deuxième partie, une jam session au cours de laquelle chanteurs et musiciens peuvent participer avec leurs voix ou instruments à condition de s'inscrire le soir meme aupres de Jam To The Wild (Julia et Gwen) les organisateurs de cette soirée.
