Parmi eux, le label Lumberjacks in Hell produit depuis bientôt six ans des releases de grande qualité. Fortement inspiré par la scène chicagoan et la disco outre-atlantique, la structure fondée par Marcel Vogel en 2010 se place aujourd’hui comme l’une des meilleures en matière de disco house. Du « All Along The Watchtower » revisité par Rayko au groove dévastateur du Hit & Quit It de Jamie 3:26 et Cratebug, Lumberjacks in Hell fait preuve d’un talent inégalable pour fournir aux DJs leurs armes secrètes, et on attend désespérement un repress pour plusieurs sorties du catalogue.
Comptant en son sein des Djs hors pair comme Rahaan, Borrowed Identity ou Mr Mendel, le label se produit couramment hors de ses bases pour prêcher la bonne vibe dans toute l’Europe. C’est avec un réel plaisir que nous les recevrons pour souffler ensemble leur sixième bougie en compagnie de Marcel Vogel et Rahaan, dont le dernier set entre nos murs en Mars dernier est resté gravé dans nos mémoires.
