Pompomburg wurde an dem Ort gegründet, an dem einst der Garten der Hesperiden lag, und ist heute ein ruhiges Dorf. Die Bewohner leben dort von Liebe, frischem Wasser und roten und grünen Äpfeln. Doch die Ankunft des berühmten Geschäftsmannes Victor Velain bringt diese Ruhe ein wenig durcheinander. Apfelwein, korrupte Politiker, eine pensionierte Revolutionärin, Zankereien in der Landwirtschaft und eine Liebesgeschichte - alle Zutaten sind vorhanden, um aus "Pompomburg" ein explosives Musical zu machen!
