Le cannabis est une substance utilisée par l’humanité depuis des millénaires. Toutefois ses effets sur un cerveau en construction restent méconnus. Durant cette conférence, je présenterai des travaux récents montrant que l’exposition au cannabis peut interférer avec le développement cérébral.
OLIVIER MANZONI : En 1993, après avoir obtenu son doctorat durant lequel il a étudié la plasticité synaptique, O. Manzoni est recruté à l'INSERM. Il part alors aux États-Unis où il s'intéresse aux effets de la morphine sur la plasticité synaptique. En 2002 il crée son équipe de recherche à Bordeaux puis rejoint l'Institut de Neurobiologie de la Méditerranée à Marseille en 2010. Il est depuis 2017 directeur d'un Laboratoire International Associé Inserm-Indiana University et depuis 2024 directeur adjoint de la recherche à l'institut Neuromarseille.
