Yumi Zouma le 22 juin au Point Ephémère
Yumi Zouma est un groupe constitué de Charlie Ryder, Christie Simpson, Josh Burgess, Sam Perry. Ils vivent entre New York, Paris et la Nouvelle Zélande et ont composé leur EP via dropbox… une façon très moderne de travailler qui a débouché sur un premier EP signé sur le label pop Cascine.
Leur musique est une dream pop organique rythmée par des mélodies simples.

Première partie : Hilldale
Il y a deux ans Christelle, Julien, Charlie et Lucas ont monté le groupe Hilldale (Indie-pop / Dijon). Une petite bande qui s'est retrouvée autour d'une passion commune des préceptes des Beatles, des envolées des Smiths mais aussi des mélodies oniriques de Real Estate. Depuis, ils naviguent entre des ambiances mélancoliques et romantiques emmenées par des compositions pop aériennes. A la suite de leur premier EP éponyme sorti en juin 2014, accompagnés par La Vapeur de Dijon, ils entament une série de concerts, dont les premières parties de The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Ducktails, Feu! Chatterton, Son Lux ou encore Mein Sohn William, et engrangent de l’expérience sur scène en enchaînant les dates : Dijon (Vapeur / Consortium), Paris (Espace B / Balades Sonores / Supersonic), Lyon (Marché Gare / Sonic), Bruxelles, Nantes, Reims, Angers... Après un an et demi de pérégrinations, les quatre compères reprennent la route en 2016 pour défendre leur nouvel EP « Memorabilia ».
