☻ The Orions (Haifa / Surf Rock)
Les Orions (nom inspiré du bouiboui qui ferait selon eux les meilleurs falafels du monde.) se sont formés à Tel Aviv en 2010 après que deux vieux copains aient réalisé qu'ils partagaient la même envie de parler de leur ville d'Haifa et fabriquer de la bonne musique surf.
Souvenirs d'enfance, la plage, les vues imprenables d'Israel... Ils ont mélangé tout ça avec énergie pour en faire sortir le jus de The Orions, pouvant contenir des traces de Punk, de Garage, et de Falafel, donc.
The Orions nous ont fait la primeur d'un premier EP qu'on appelle "Always clean and fresh" sur le label de la capitale du surf "Burger Records" ainsi que sur le label européen Crapoulet et Rapt. Tout le monde a surfé sur la vague et les stocks ont très vite été écoulés. Alors pour satisfaire le reste du monde, ils sont en tournée depuis 2013 et promeuvent leur nouvel LP "Lightning stroke Twice)

☻ Pirato Ketchup (Liège / Surf Rock n'roll)
Baigné dans des litres de reverb’ cradingues, le rock’n’roll instrumental de Pirato Ketchup mélange notamment surf rock sixties, garage et punk pour envoyer une sauce puissante et dansante à souhait ! Un combo instrumental qui vous plonge immédiatement dans un univers de films tarantinesques et de séries TV vintage.
Depuis ses débuts en 2008, le groupe de Liège (Belgique) a accumulé les concerts partout en Europe : de Bruxelles à Barcelone en passant par Brighton et Bratislava ! Leurs sorties discographiques (les EPs “Speed Surfer” en 2010 et “That’s Right” en 2013) ont recueilli d'excellentes critiques de la presse spécialisée qui salue ce mélange détonnant. Phil Dirt, DJ californien et critique émérite en matière de surf music a dit : “Pirato Ketchup est au surf ce que Captain Beefheart est au blues !”.
Pour le reste ce qui est sûr, c’est qu’ils sont chauds, sexy et qu’ils envoient toujours la sauce bien là où il faut !
