Si les musiciens sont les mêmes, et la philosophie identique (un certain ‘connais-toi et fais par toi-même’), УТРО (Russie / Talitres) ne se résume pas à un projet parallèle des russes de Motorama. Interrogé sur ce point, dans la foulée de la sortie de l’album « Calendar » (2012), Vladislav Parshin indiquait au magazine Magic avoir un ‘stock assez conséquent de démos obscures et atmosphériques, qui ne correspondaient plus à l’orientation esthétique prise par Motorama’. Un versant plus noir, plus expérimental, plus froid aussi, chanté dans leur langue natale. Approche minimaliste de la musique, textes existentialistes, incantations, chez Утро la langue slave s’impose car elle permet aux musiciens d’exprimer tout le suc de leur pensée. Six titres taillés au couteau, en forme de mini-album. ‘Squalid people’ (personnages sordides), ‘Bane’ (fléau), ‘Torture’ (supplice), les matins à Rostov-sur-le-Don sont sombres et tranchants.

++ DJOKOVIC ++
Djokovic (Brest / Beko disques) Fort d’un single (« Jeu, Set et Match »), d’un EP sorti chez Beko Disques et repéré par le magazine Magic !, le groupe qui a sans doute choisi le pire nom possible en termes de référencement web a déjà enchaîné les 1ères parties de choix : Mourn au Trabendo cet été, ou encore les Proper Ornaments (l’un des multiples projets de la tête pensante des Veronica Falls). Côté musique, un tube instantané tel que « Edmund », pop mais pas que, boxe dans la même catégorie que les héros de Captured Tracks, Beach Fossils en tête.
