Peu d’artistes sont aujourd’hui capables de vous envouter comme un « Farinelli » si ce n’est Mathieu Salama, ce sopraniste lyrique contre-ténor à la voix si particulière, si différente et aux inflexions parfois enfantines voire étranges; il va faire revivre le répertoire d’arias, d’airs sacrés et d’airs d’opéra, composés pour les grands castrats par Haendel,Caccini, Caldara, Porpora, mais aussi Bach ou Purcell.
