Celebrate Barack Obama's 56th Birthday with a special afternoon TEA
(including Meredith's famous margaritas!)
Saturday, Aug 4, 4pm-6pm
Chez Meredith Wheeler, Chair, Democrats Abroad Toulouse in a scenic presbytère near the medieval village of Lautrec in the Tarn.

We'll have cake, candles and ice cream--and for those who prefer, margaritas!
On this same day the village of Lautrec celebrates its annual Pink Garlic Festival
--one of the most famous summer fêtes in southwestern France.
The medieval village itself has a special designation as "un des plus BEAUX villages de France".
There are activities in the village all day plus the wonderful Café Plum--the bookstore/café for a snack.
The traditional garlic soup is given away FREE to all comers at noon in the main square.
If you have children, there is the Aquaval swimming complex with slides, waterfalls, wading pool for little ones, playground and snack bar.
When you've finished all that, retire to the shady green garden at Meredith's home to toast Barack Obama!
This is a FUNDRAISER for our chapter to pay for online Voter Registration ads and print ads in anglophone publications.
A minimum donation of 20 euros per person is requested.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.
